Born on September 3, 1993, John was the cherished son of John F. and Marie B. (Fitzgerald) Cullen of Walpole. He was the proud father of John Michael Cullen, who was the center of his world and the greatest source of joy in his life. He is also survived by the mother of his son, Carissa Galavotti of Lakeville.

John was a loving brother to Kayla M. Davis and her husband Stephen of Quincy, Shannon C. Folan and her husband Shawn of Norfolk, Meaghan M. Cullen of Walpole, and Hannah S. Cullen of Walpole. He was a devoted uncle to his nephew, Callum J. Folan, and a cherished grandson of Edward and Eileen (Folan) Fitzgerald of West Roxbury. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hugh T. Cullen and Marguerite M. (Hynes) Cullen. In addition to his immediate family, John leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends who considered him family.

A 2011 graduate of Walpole High School, John was passionate about sports from an early age. He continued his education at Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts, before beginning a career as an elevator mechanic with Stanley Elevator Company Inc., where he was respected for his dedication and strong work ethic.

While John enjoyed sports and spending time outdoors, those closest to him say his greatest role was being a father. He treasured every moment with his son, introducing little John to the games he loved and celebrating each new milestone. Family members say his son was always his first priority and the inspiration behind everything he did.

John will be remembered for his contagious laugh, larger-than-life smile, and heart of gold. Friends describe him as someone who could brighten any room, always bringing laughter, energy, and kindness wherever he went. His love for his family and friends was evident in everything he did, and his legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the memories he created.
